Amazing and very special trekking of 8 days through Sierra de Gredos, in the very hart of midden Spain, with backpacks and sleeping in mountain huts and small hostels in traditional villages. A UIMLA official certified mountain guide (who speaks fluent English) will guide you over the 2000 m high mountains, climbing the well known peaks of Almanzor, La Galana, Morezón and la Mira, and walking along the very beautiful alpine landscapes of Los Galayos, Laguna Grande, Circo de Gredos, Cinco Lagunas, trying to spot the Spanish Wild Goat. Our trip will end in Ávila city, a middleages's town which keeps its ancient walls and is full will old traditional buildings.
